Middle Class Rut

We were very impressed with the quality, but it's a shame that this band played so early. Very entertaining, and the fact that it is only two guys making this music is amazing. If you didn't see them, you missed out! We missed the opening song due to a late arrival, and we got to be very close since not many people had arrived yet!

At least the singer was nice and dedicated a song to the fans. They don't really have any good songs. The band is not very good, but I'm sorry, the music was just not very good. He gets props for at least trying to be nice and entertaining.

This band drove the fans crazy, unfortunately almost too crazy! They played very well and were very entertaining. My vote for best performance. Very fun. We were right up front, and people kept crowd surfing. We had to spend 40% of our time looking back so as to not have somebody land on our heads.
Panic! at the Disco

I didn't like this band going into the concert, and liked them even less afterward. He could not get enough of talking about "rapture day." I don't consider myself too religious, but we all thought that this was in poor taste and very immature. Their musical quality was blah, and they were total douche bags.

I used to remember hearing this band "back in the day." Great performance, this is how rock songs should be sung. They were great entertainers and had a lot of energy. They really got the fans crazy, and we were almost pulled into a "mosh pit" because of it. Also was fun with the fans. I never really liked them, but I was surprised with how good they were.

Overall Experience

Was an amazing event. Got to see a ton of bands, got to take a lot of great pictures, enjoy many great (and not so great) chili, and get lots of free stuff! I can't remember which tent this was, but it was the best one that I tried. We won lunch at one of the tents, a bowl of delicious chili. Also was cool to see the DC101 Crew, and Davies of DC United. Was a great event, and I will be SURE to go next year!!! The only thing I didn't like probably was the relentless sun, some of the creepy people smoking marijuana and tobacco in the crowd, and the beer offered. But amazing!!!
